Lewis E Jenks who was born about 1841 in Rhode Island is listed as an engraver in the 1860 Census for Providence, Rhode Island.
Lewis E Jenks is listed in the 1864 Boston Directory as an engraver at 8 Bromfield, in the 1867 Boston Directory as an engraver (silver) same addrees, and in the 1868,69,70, & 71 Boston Directories as an engraver at 12 West.
He is listed in the in the 1870 Census for Boston, Massachusetts as a silver engraver.
He is listed in the 1874 Boston Directory as a silverware manufacturer at 7 Suffolk pl. In the 1877 & 78 Boston Directories, he is with Kennard & Jenks at 576 Washington. In the 1882, 3,4,5, & 6-7 Boston Directories, he is listed as a silverware manufacturer and silversmith again at 12 West.
Barton P Jenks, Lewis's son, and designer of the Fairfax flatware pattern (referred to by some in the trade as the vanilla ice cream flavor of flatware patterns, the one just about everybody likes, went on from Lewis E Jenks to form Goodnow & Jenks with Walter P Goodnow. Barton was the president of Wm B Durgin Co at its founding.
The 1889 Boston Directory notes that Lewis E Jenks died 8-8-88.

Albert F Adams is listed in the 1864 Nashua Directory as a partner in his father's Dry Goods business, M A Adams & Son at 83 Main. In the 1866 Nashua Directory, Albert F Adams' listing is jewelry 83 Main. He is also in the 1873-4 Nashua Directory with the same information.

Robert Gray is listed in the census's for Portsmouth, New Hampshire for 1850 and 1860 as a silversmith. He advertised as a gold and silver-smith. James H Ela in the Granite Monthly, Volume 17, 1899 states that Robert Gray died on 11 June 1860 which was three days after the last census with his name in it was done. Robert Gray is last listed as a silversmith in the Portsmouth directory, Portsmouth: Published by C W Brewster and Son, 1860

William H Glenny, a crockery and glassware merchant, was in business in Buffalo by 1840. However, his sons would not have been old enough to normally be considered part of that until the 1870's.

There's quite a bit of detail available about this gentleman, but it may worth mentioning that he and his son James Jr are listed as watchmakers at 95 North Water in the New-Bedford Directory by Henry H Crapo, New-Bedford: J C Parmenter Printer, 1836.
The younger James is listed in the 1880 U S Federal Census Mortality Schedule for New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts. James's occupation was watchmaker, and he was born in Rhode Island in about 1810. He died in December of 1879.

Gould & Lewis Co, Dudley M Gould and Alexander E Lewis, Brooklyn, New York were mid twentieth century silverware manufacturers.

Charles Twambley and his sons Charles S and Rufus P are all listed as jewelers in the 1860 Census for Saco, Maine. In the previous Census for Saco, Maine the elder Charles Twambley is listed as a hardware dealer.
In the 1866 Saco Directory, Twambley & Smith (Charles Twambley & Daniel Smith Jr) are listed as importers and dealers in watches and jewelry at 84 Main. In this same directory the two sons Charles and Rufus P Twambley are listed as jewellers at Middle Street which is the same address as Rufus K Twambley a jeweller. At this same time the jewelry business R K Twambley was at 30 Main Street, Factory Island.
In the 1870 Saco Directory Charles Twambley and son Rufus are listed at 84 Main with the business name Charles Twambley & Son, jewellers.
In the 1875 Biddeford and Saco Directory Charles Twambley and sons Charles and Rufus P were listed at 84 Main with the business name Charles Twambley & Son, jewelry and watches.

The E W Trask in the alphabetical listing of American Silver Marks Maker's Names was possibly Edwin W Trask jeweler Aurora, Illinois.

In the book which is available on google The Past and Present of Kane County, Illinois, Chicago: William Le Baron & Co 186 Dearborn St, 1878, E W Trask is said to have started in business in Aurora in 1860. He is listed on the tax rolls there beginning in the 1860's and was still in Aurora, Illinois listed as a jewelry store owner in 1910.
There is Kane County Court record of Edwin Wallace Trask marrying Adela Cornelia Hawkins 26 October 1864

Henry Salisbury is listed with Henry Salisbury Jr at 171 Broadway, New York City from 1857 to 1861 with the business name Henry Salisbury & Co jewelry.

William S Nichols appeared in the 1870 Newport, Rhode Island census with the occupation silversmith. He was listed in the 1871 Newport Directory as a jeweler at 18 Marlborough.

Crosby & Foss are last listed in the Boston Directory in 1884.

Thomas Tugby was from the second half of the nineteenth century and into the early part of the twentieth century a fancy goods merchant in Niagara Falls, New York.

Thomas Whartenby was born in Delaware in about 1788. He was a silversmith as were at least two of his sons. They were William who was born in about 1820 in Pennsylvania and Thomas who was born in about 1824 also in Pennsylvania.

James M Ford is listed in directories and census's as a jeweler in Boston up to at least 1890, last address 3 Winter, room 30.

William Forbes is listed in New York City directories at 277 Spring as a silversmith from 1848 until at least 1860.

William Faber was born in the West Indies in about 1800.
Mid nineteenth century as a starting point for this father and his sons being in business together makes the most sense to me.
