Can anyone help wiith the identification of the silversmith who made this cup:







I did find the name Victor Demare, with the discription of his symbole as " un binocle" but not a picture of his hallmark

I can't see your mark very well.

Another possibility, VD mark by Vaneste & Delettrez, Paris, 1883-1888.

I think your cup is by Demare. A binocle in French is translated as spectacles or eyeglasses, and the symbol in the mark you show looks to me like spectacles.
