This 9.5 inch long silver plated ladle is marked Pat. Jul.10,88 and O.F. HALL.
Any ideas who O.F. Hall is and where from ?

Can't help with the retailer, but the pattern is Towle's Eudora (Patent #D18453).

Orrin Freemont Hall who was a jeweler from New Vineyard, Maine and was in Norridegwock, Maine by the time this pattern came out seems like a very likely candidate for the retailer of this piece.

Thank you both.
Is there a certain book where I could find the information on Orrin Hall ?
It might be useful since I've found alot of different solid silver and silver plate items from Maine and New Hampshire makers since that's the area where I am from.
I actually moved to the town Orrin came from and maybe the historical society here would also like to see it.

I'm afraid I don't know. My information came from a combination of ancestry.com and google books and only amounted to looking at federal census's and business directories.

A local connection is always a plus . Especially if that's where you're living.
