Hello

I recently bought this set of cups and I know little about them. Three cloisonne enamel and two dummy niello. They are from Russia, Soviet, that I know. You can help me with the year of manufacture, a silversmith and city. Any other information is welcome.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English language.

1) Vodka cup (rjuma) in painted enamel (not cloisonné!). Townmark: Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Silver content: 916/1000, Maker: Jeweller firm of Leningrad, year of manufakture: (9) 1959
This is Soviet silver - not Russian silver! Russia ended 1917!

2) Vodka cup (rjuma) in oxydiced "niello" (dummy niello is a nice word for this cheat!) Townmark: Moscow, Silver content: 875/1000, Maker: Artel (cooperation) "Chudoschnik" (Artist), year of manufacture: (9) 1959

Thank you very much for your response. It is helpful to classify the cup. I thought it was fake, but after cleaning and examination under the microscope, I see that it is authentic niello.

Thanks again
