Unsure of markings. Believe to be mid 19th century and have looked for hall marks but nothing conclusive.
Marks are as follow:

1)MEMA in rectangle box
2) L in rectangle box
3)three crowns enclosed in a heart type box
4) S enclosed in hexagon box
5)830 in rectangle box
6)H10 in rectangle box
7 Below this line of marks the number 72 is punched with the 2 slightly lower then the 7
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Frank

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the Forum.

I've got a horrible feeling that I'm going to disappoint you.

Your box was made by Mema Guld & Silver AB of Lidköping, Sweden, and assayed in 1982.

Trev, I need the information to move on and thanks for your input.
What is throwing me is the L enclosed in the box and the 830 sterling mark. The triple crown mark I have seen on other silver pieces with the .925 grade and the MEMA mark is an indicative mark to the region that you mentioned. Thanks for the help, Frank

Trev, Also thanks for the warm welcome. I didn't mention the the box has a gold wash inside.

The 'L' mark is the town mark that identifies Lidköping. The 'S' is the silver standard mark (830/1000 or higher, not Sterling which is 925/1000).
