French Saucepan - Maker ???

We would greatly appreciate any help identifying the maker, and likely period, of this French saucepan.

We believe the marks shown indicate first standard silver, with the locality being Aisne / Laon, and assume the crowned "A" is the maker's mark ???

Many thanks in advance,

Stewart

Hello,

The mark on the right has the contour of the French mark for "Departements" .950 silver starting august 16 1819 till may 10 1838 (till the minerve). The makersmark could be an A, but also a V. The fact that there is a minervemark as well does not mean that the saucepan was made after 1838. It only means that is was stamped again after 1838.

Regards,

Zilverik
