Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with some information about a couple of items.
I have this plate

that i'm unsure about, as it has two seperate sets of hall marks on it. On the back it has these hallmarks

on the front it has the french rooster 1798-1809, and the guarantee mark. It also has this mark that i don't know on the front.

A friend of mine suggested that the back marks are the original ones and then later it had the centre engraving done and was then remarked with the hallmarks on the front, but i'm not sure?

The leaf mark is the inventory mark for large articles, in use for Paris since 1819.
The Greek woman's head mark was introduced by the Association of Gold & Silversmiths during the period 1794-1797, but has no value as guarantee.
The letter in a lozenge stands for the maker's mark.
