I believe this to have British hallmarks. Anyone able to help me identify?

Welcome to the forum.

Have seen those marks several times here in the U.S., always on silverplate.
Have not been able to identify who used them.

I was hoping I had a big find. This piece does not state "Silver on Copper". Know anything about the maker or origin?

I identified this mark five years ago. As promised, I'm searching my inventory for the identification. It's a slow process; I list only the name of the maker and description of the piece, but no description of the mark. If an item looks promising, I must go to wherever the item is in the house and look at the mark. With over 1,500 silver and silver plated items, it's a slow and painstaking process. I do remember that the key to the identification of this mark is "L" over the lion. It's a veritable treasure hunt and I will post the identity as soon as I find it.

Was anyone ever able to identify these marks? I purchased a small teapot with these exact markings.
