Help with symbol only mark

This ladle has me wondering. It's definitely silver, and was found in with a fair number of coin silver spoons. The mark makes me think of Hanau marks, but everything else it was in with was 1840s/1850s American. The images seem a little blurred to me, but they're the best I've got at 12:20AM.
