Hi there
I've inherited some spoons and knives, please see here:
http://flickr.com/photos/soapy-j/93312677/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The hallmark appears as:
T&S [anchor] [Lion] [G]
Which appears to indicate that they were made in Birmingham in 1779, possible by Toye and Spencer (This is is the only T&s maker I can find).
I think they may be masonic in origin, as my family has a masonic history.
I am interested in ANY information someone on this list may be able to give! They are very beautiful and severely intriguing!
Thanks
John
