Pseudo marks - ??? Canadian

A good friend has four of these spoons, with what appear to be pseudo Georgian English hallmarks.

We would have guessed perhaps Canadian, but would appreciate other opinions, or confirmation.

I think it may be Robert Wilson who apparently worked in the first half of the nineteenth century in New York and Philadelphia.

That, plus this on-line reference would seem to make this very likely, although it would be nice to see the pseudo marks together with this maker's mark.

Lending further evidence in that direction would be the engraving parallel to the sides of the spoons.

Conventional thinking I believe is that the psuedo marks identify the manufacturer, and the recognizable marks in this case were the retailer. Silversmiths and such have long been both makers and retailers.
