Maker 'HA'

Please can anyone identify the maker whose assay mark is 'HA' ? My Pocket Edition of Jackson's Hallmarks (Pickford 1991) has no listing. Perhaps someone has access to a copy of Culme's directory?

Many thanks.

Hi Silverside,

That's Atkin Brothers (Henry Atkin).

Thanks Trev. It is becoming increasingly evident that the frequency of 'senior moments' accelerates with age. Oh dear...

As an aside, I wonder if the filter on attachment (photo) size is working correctly. I kept reducing the size, reduction after reduction after reduction. Next stop was microdot...

Hi Silverside,

The size of the image should be adjusted using the 'Paint' facility, or similar, prior to storing your image.

So, as I understand it, there is no point in reducing the image size after it has been stored at 'Photobucket' as any reduction made there is not recognised by the software on this forum. Thus, the image size must be determined by 'Paint', 'Photoshop' whatever before uploading to 'Photobucket'.

You learn something everyday. Thanks Trev, I'm much obliged.
