Hi Dan,

Welcome to the Forum.

Very nice set with a Christopher Dresser influence to the design.

The style of the marks is very typical of Indian coloniel marking in the first half of the 20th century. I'll move your post to that forum and hopefully we'll get an answer.

Perhaps a predecessor or successor to Warner Brothers of Calcutta.

Superb design.
Definitely Indian, as Trev says.

If you can find any Indian (and especially Delhi) street directories around 1940, it might be worth checking to see if there any names with the initials GK.
