Welcome to the forum.

British silver; T G for Thomas Glaser importer, London date letter T for 1894, F for imported silver and the Leopard head for London assay office. The first two visible marks are pseudo marks most probably made in the Netherlands or Germany.

I have seen similar pseudomarks on a tray with an additional mark that I have not found anywhere yet. However the two pseudomarks here are attributed to Neresheimer, a prolific Hanau silversmith. My tray also has import marks of Thomas Glaser similar to yours. I wasn't aware before that Glaser imported Neresheimer's work as well.

Why would you attribute those marks to Neresheimer? I see no similarities with the marks used by Neresheimer.

I found the following image on google search few years ago and had it on file as Neresheimer and Thomas Glaser.



The last mark on my image resembles Neresheimer's mark s520 on the link you kindly provided - I am guilty of overinterpreting my first mark as a rubbed version of s.513 on this link, which on retrospect, is probably different.

Apologies for the error (if this is an error!), I am a novice collector and do not have vast experience. I did not intend to mislead anyone. If it isn't Neresheimer, I would be very interested to know more about this please.

Hi,

It was merely a question and no accusation. I believe not Neresheimer perhaps one of the marks used by Storck and Sinsheimer comes close but not conclusive.
There are plenty of unknown marks used by Hanau /style makers or other.
