James Vickery was recorded as a silversmith in 1852 located at 4, Woodbridge Street, Clerkenwell, by 1855 he had removed to 20, King Square, Goswell Road, Clerkenwell, and by 1880, to 11, Lavers Road, Stoke Newington. He was a maker of silver fittings used in dressing cases. James Vickery entered his first mark ay the London Assay Office on the 5th August 1851, and a further mark on the 8th November 1880.
John Collard Vickery entered his first mark at the LAO on the 8th July 1899, with further marks entered in May 1899, 1901, 1902, 1903, and 1913. His first partner was noted as Arthur Thomas Hobbs (link to the OP?). John Collard Vickery died on the 19th August 1930 aged 75 years. His private residence was noted as Leighholme, Leigham Avenue, Streatham SW.
