The mark is Evans X175 and I have found that it is Evans Case Co and it is silver or nickel plated but can someone tell me what it is called. I have not been able to find anything on it or another one like it. The tray has post for the wine goblets to sit on. There or 8 post and 8 goblets..

Welcome to the forum.
Perhaps the Evans Case Co is still in business and could let you know if the item had a specific name? There is a website for the company
http://evanslighters.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; although it seems somewhat dormant.

I have the same tray. No goblets. I was thinking it was made to be used on board ship, railroad maybe. Hell, lighter than air ship! I don't have a clue as to it's age. I found the one I have at Ironstone Vineyards, Murphy's, California. Good luck with your hunt. Let me know what you discover and I'll do the same.
