Candleholder ID needed crown/letter S/shield

I have this beautiful candleholder, but have trouble identifying it. I think it is old, but look through all available antique books to not avail.
I will greatly appreciate the information.

The mark is that of Sheridan Silver Company, Inc. of Taunton, MA. They incorporated in 1946 and mainly made silver plated holloware.
