dear vereyone:i get a spoon ,but i can not be sure the marks is true ,the marks is "w&h"inside a flag ,(i rember the compay is reg.1892),the date mark is L,i guess 1878 ,so please help me ,thanks .

Hi,
Walker & Hall registered their 'flag' trade mark in 1861. The maker's mark is that of John Edward Bingham, the senior director of Walker & Hall.

The date of your spoon is, as you have stated, 1878.
