Maker's Marks

I have two similar sterling silver salt cellars with spoons made in Birmingham, possibly in 1808 or 1909. Each has its own maker's mark; one is W.H.S. ; the other is H.W.L. with a small D to the right of the L. Can any one identify who these makers are and when they practiced?

The HWL mark with a small d to the right was used by Henry Williamson Ltd. He worked in Birmingham from 1893 to at least 1912.

This would suggest a date of 1909 - if it had been the earlier date, the pieces should also have featured a Duty Mark.

A possibility for WHS is W H Sparrow, active early 20th century.
