S with a line in the middle of it

I have found this mark on several pieces of Sterling Silver jewelry pieces and I have not been able to identify it. It is a capital "S" that has a small line or strike in the middle of it. Any help is very much appreciated. I can send a photo but I can not figure out how to add it to this post... Help! Thanks!

Hi,
It looks like the mark of Shube's Manufacturing Inc. of New Mexico.
Take a look at this topic and see what you think:

It's close, but mine is not a backwards "S." Thanks for your help! Melinda

Yes, but I still do not think it is the same mark. The jewelry I have been finding with it looks more like Modernist Studio Art... possibly from Europe somewhere. Thanks, I really appreciate all your help! Melinda

An image of the whole piece may assist with an ID.

I also have a piece with this makers mark. Did you ever find out more on the origin? I originally thought it was Shube but the "S" is more rounded than theirs. Here's a link to my piece
