Religious Christ of St John Necklace? 985 Silver Mark?

Hello,
I am new on this forum & after reading the do's & don'ts I hope that my post will be within the rules. Anyway here goes. I have acquired a piece of jewellery which is similar in style to the Salvador Dali Christ of St John (although the chain does not have nails as links). I can't seem to make out the markings & I am hopeful some kind person here may be able to help out. Under my loupe it appears to be numbers on the bale that say 985 (but appear too big & I can only make out a part of each number). On the upper part of the same bit as the 985? is a marking & I cannot make out what this is at all but think it may be foreign.
I am probably more hopeful somebody recognises the piece & can advise its origin. I have attached photos but these may not show it close enough.
