Don Silver information needed

Hello! I am new to this forum and excited to find it!
I have some very plain spoons that all look the same but have different marks. The marks I cannot locate are on several of the sppons. They say Don Silver C Bros S (see photo). Can anyone provide information about their maker, if they are sterling or coin silver and perhaps year/location made? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you
Rosie

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

It's not silver I'm afraid, but plated. Your spoon was made by Cooper Brothers & Sons, Don Plate Works, Sheffield.

The firm used a variety of marks, some of the others can be found here: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_C.html

Thanks much Trev, I appreciate it! I was hoping it was at least coin silver....
