Picked up this approximately 1950s Moroccan silver bracelet and broach set some time ago that has been influenced by traditional Berber design. The Arabic letters you see are detached as a design element only. There is a particular Berber village that produced work in a more traditional format. Both the bracelet and broach bear punch marks indicating a silver content of 800.
Have spotted a similar piece on this forum with open filigree work that is reported to have been produced in Allepo Syria.
Would very much appreciate your comments.
