I want to apologize for my last post.. I am new here and admit that I didn't read the rules clearly and am very sorry for my inappropriate question..
I will rephrase my question if that is ok?
I have a Reed & Barton sugar bowl that was given to me by my grandparents. I have searched and have been unable to find it anywhere online.
The bottom is engraved with : Reed & Barton Silver soldered 028-H there is an I P under that and at the bottom Southern Hotel St. Louis. Has anyone here come across one of these online or elsewhere so that I can find more information on this piece? I know the Southern Hotel was built in 1866 and burned down in 1877 but I have searched sites for antique pieces and have yet to find one that has this sugar bowl..
