Hi

Apologies if this is not in the appropriate forum but because of the 'Sterling' mark I suspect it is American in origin.

This is a teaspoon measuring approximately 7 inches in size. I have not been able to identify the hallmarks. The hallmarks are at the most narrow part of the stem and quite difficult to photograph. hope they are interpretable.

Hi,

It is difficult to see from your image, but check out Dominick & Haff at: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_D.html

That's Dominick & Haff's Queen Elizabeth pattern, the back is also marked 'PAT-D.16', the same year it was introduced (patent #D48811).
