Solje pin - help ID maker & finish

This is a very large solje pin (4.75" long). It is marked 925S and a maker's mark I don't recognize. Below, there are links to 3 different photos of mark, and hopefully someone will recognize it. My other question concerns the finish. As you can see from the holes in the back of the pin, it was sprayed (?) with a white silvery coating. I have noticed that modern solje pins are sold either as white silver or oxidized, and I wonder whether this pin has the so-called "white silver" finish. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
