???? cant find pattern

I found this knife this week but there are no marks what so ever on it.It weighs 3.2 ounces is 9 inches long and a solid piece not hollow looks to have never been used I think its plate but? Its a little dark in a couple of places but the rest is shiny any help with pattern please? any way here is a pic
