I have a silverplate tipping teapot with the mark from the website that's listed as unidentified US. It's the one with the lion passant/ P /S / crown
Would anyone have any more info on this mark?

Interested in age and history.

Thank you.

I apologize for not including an image. I thought the website reference was sufficient. Hope this works

Hi welcome to forum,

Good images but I am afraid you are right, so far still an unknown American silver-plate mark, my guess for the tipping teapot made late 19th-early 20th century.

Oel.

OK. Thank you for your quick reply. I suspected as much and that was my date range guess considering the style. Can you point me to any other avenues for research? I enjoy the polishing and the researching equally. Again, thank you.
