I have a really nice gold bracelet with foreign marks that I'm having trouble identifying. If anyone has any information on these marks, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hi Rick,
The bracelet is Portuguese, the 'ant' mark in the oblong cartouche was used by the Porto assay office, it indicates white gold and was used from 1938 until 1984.
Can you post a clearer image of the top mark?
Trev.

Hi Trev,
Thanks for your response. Here is a higher quality image of the marks. Do you happen to know what karat the piece would be and if there is a way to get a more precise date? Thanks again.
Rick

Hello raSmith,
With the Portuguese trademarks, there is generally a single letter that stands out and makes it much easier to research if listed. Your image is not clear enough to know for sure what that letter is. Can you either look at it yourself and tell us the letter or reshoot the larger mark again to be as clear as you have shot the ant mark? That might help solicit a reply to your final question.
cheers,
