Hi,

They're Italian.

The mark in the middle is the Cross of Saints Maurice & Lazarus used 1824-1873 by the Kingdom of Piedmont & Sardinia. It denotes the second standard of 800/1000 silver.

Hopefully someone better versed in Italian marks can recognise the other marks.

Hi touqeer
The upper one seems the horse's head of Novara, but I don't recognize the silvermith.
Can you read for certain the letters beside the tower?

Good day all,

Just a note, there appears to be the number 21 or 27 on the base of the horse's neck. Is that a year code Amena? The makers mark; is that an G or C on the left and an R on the right? There also appears to be a single numeral above the tower. 4?

To me it looks like a flag on the tower, not a number.
In my knowledge, they did not use datanumber in those years, however, 21 (1821) would not be possible because the mark came into use in 1824.
Touqeer, who can watch with a loupe all the 4 marks, can clarify if there are numbers or not.
However, I'm very intrigued by the coat. It seems to me a prince crown. Who can he be?

There was a Carlo Rossini in Novara in 1824 the mark shown is a C then a tower with a flag on top and an R.
Unfortunately the mark shown and a drawing of an alternate mark are clearly not the same mark.
However considering the similarities, I would say this is an alternate mark for Rossini.

Amena,

Your question on the coat of arms prompted a search. King Charles Felix ruled from 1821-31. Is that a C with intertwined Fs ?

What Francais suggests it is very likely, provided that the letters are C and R

Hi Warren
The Savoia had their own coat of arms, and then I do not think that they would order the cutlery in Novara.
