Hi,
I got this recently thought it was unusual in terms of the colour. You can see the difference in the ring it has been fixed with yellow gold and the other metal is a very dark gold (?).
The ring itself (with the yellow gold repair):

3 Different photos of the hallmark in different light:

I posted links above to the pictures (cuts down on loading time for this page versus images).
The ring is made in two pieces the inner piece a dull brown metal the outer a shiny dull gold.
I have researched the marks but found little, the closest I can find is the Spain mark on this site for silver

If you could please help me identify the mark that would be brilliant!
Thanks in advance
Owen

Also I should have said the mark is a six pointed star with a circle in the middle, the initials SE and a symbol(see pics for that)

Hi Owen,

To me, it looks more like a maker's mark, rather than a hallmark. Suspect it may be a gold fronted piece only.

Hi Trev,
Thanks for the info, any idea what country the maker may be? (or you are just going by the style of the mark?)
Thanks again,
Owen

Hi Owen,

I'd only be shooting in the dark. My best bet would be American.
