Please help me identify and dating this silver box.

Hello, that is from Czechoslowakia. The '4' stands for 835/1000 parts silver. If the background of the '4' (I cannot see it clearly on my screen) is checkered, it is the mark introduced in 1942. If it just depicts three slopes, it is the one introduced in 1927. 'WL' is probabaly the maker - sorry, haven't got a clue. Best wishes, Bahner
