He was a witness (as Ayme Vedeau ) to the will of Robert Dennison, Silversmith of St Martins in the Fields, Middlesex which was made 22nd March 1774 and proved 20th July 1776

A drawing of a mark attributed to Aymé Videau and not illustrated in Grimwade, noted on a coffee-pot assayed at London in 1736:
