Hello,
yes it is Herrmann Julius Wilm (1812-1907) from Berlin (Scheffler, Berlin, p 477f.), but the letter "F" is from 1868-1870 (Scheffler p XXI)

Thank you guys, I was thinking about him, but unfortunately I can't find anything else. There is no listings on eBay with Wilm Hermann Julius name whatsoever, there is no other info anywhere on google. Very strange.

Hello, do not know why you come up with zilch, a search with > Mark Wilm Hamburg < will lead you to the page of the family, still going strong as jewellers and goldsmiths. It is in German though, but I am sure somewhere is a Babel Fish swimming around ... If you want the full info you may go back to one of those oldfashioned analogue data storage devices ("Book"). Wolfgang Scheffler's "Berliner Goldschmiede", published eons ago, is THE source. Good luck. Bahner
