Hi,
I'm doing my family history research and I'm trying to discover as much as I can about a Gx5 grandfather. He was Edward Marshall and he lived at 61 Cannon Street in St George in the East since at least 1796 until abt 1840. He had numerous apprentices and was mentioned in the book "Old London Silver"
By Montague Howard on pge 333.It states that in 1840 he was still at 61 Cannon street .
Another document found, though not certain it is him :
MS 11936/559/1276490 28 May 1838
These documents are held at London Metropolitan Archives
Contents:
Insured: Edward Marshall and Son, 41 Clifton Street Finsbury, Pewterers
If someone could help me fill in some more detail, I'll be eternally grateful. My biggest problem has been trying to discover his wife's name. All I know is that it was Sarah.
Gail :)
