I acquired this wonderful piece at an auction. The inlay is so amazing. Whoever did this piece is truly a master. Sadly, I cannot identify the mark, "JD". The work looks Zuni, but there is both channel and stone-to-stone inlay, so it could also be Navajo. I'm at a loss and hoping someone here can help to solve the mystery.

There is a group you can join on fb that has many native American members. The pendant is nice but it looks like an import. If you join: zuni jewelry buyer beware. They can tell you immediately if it is legit or import. Great group for reference
