Early Buckle mark DS

This a small example of the early form of shoe buckle. Size only 32 mm long, including the stud chape . Perhaps for as child or lady . Dating by style around late 17th century but really that's a guess. But almost certainly in the 1660 - 1720 period !
No assay marks but probably British Isles.
Has anyone ever seen this DS mark, in its very distinctive dentated mark, please ?
Probably by a spoonmaker , or other smallworker
