18k / 750 Gold Bracelet with Unknown Mark

Hello. I recently came across an old bracelet that my family has had for some years, but no one really paid any attention to. It is marked as 18k above 0750, which I know indicates a 75% gold purity. However I cannot figure out the 100 mark that is to the left of the 18k mark nor the symbol to the right. If there is any information someone could provide on the markings I would really appreciate it.

Hi,

I don't want to put a damper on this set of marks, but it is one of the commonly found ones to found on fake items . These marks, when genuine, to my knowledge, should only be found on Swiss watchcases.

A jeweller should quickly be able to tell you whether the item is really 18ct. gold. Please let us know the result.

Trev.

Unfortunately you are correct. I found a resource online that said the same thing and a local jeweler confirmed it was a fake. I did learn the interesting background on these fake pieces though so at least that's something.

Thank you for the reply.
