I aquired this watch recently and am stumped as it appears to have no proper hallmarks. I make the duty mark Victoria and it also has a hammer mark near the hinge that I can't get a photo of - anyone help in identifying it please.

Very difficult to make out but presume that it is 18ct with lion above so will be standard british 18ct gold...hopefully the strap is marked 18ct also. Little else matters except any markings which may be on the workings themselves. If by famous maker will be worth more. Best wishes, Mike.

That's just it - it doesn't have a lion or date stamp - just stamped 18ct, has a hammer & what looks like Victoria's head.
Has a seial number which I assume is the case number and a few repairers marks.

where would I find a maker mark - it does say swiss made tho
