I have this silver trinket box and can't seem to figure it out. It has the upward facing crossed keys like the one Henry Wilkinson used and a letter "A" for the year. There is another mark I am unfamiliar with. In need of assistance with this mystery box.Images posted at links below. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Hi J.C, welcome to the forum.

Crossed key, could be symbolic for the city of York, Leopard head crowned, and a date letter. All marks are a little deceiving perhaps to imitate British silver (hall) marks. To my knowledge a row of unknown silver-plate marks.

Awesome! Thanks again. What do you make of the symbol on the left on this sterling gravy boat?

Hi,

The Continental Silver Co. and the Victor Obler Company, both used similar marking. Both were working in pre-WWII New York.
