Armee au tous points

This splendid arms crest is to be found on my large vintage teapot, hallmarked in Sheffield in 1923- so a youngster
in heraldic terms.It does display a spiky hedgehog with quite appropriate motto in french suggesting that the arms bearer is well guarded in every direction.Which family it did belong to?Image

According to Burke's The General Armory of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales: etc etc, The family is BYROM of Kersal, Lancashire. The motto is : Armé a tous points. Kind regards.
