Have looked and looked and can't find this mark. L.G, 500, with a 6 and a crescent moon and dot. The crescent moon and dot are found both on the foot and the bottom of the pot. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This may not help, but, have you started with Levitt & Gold of New York c.1915 (later known as Levitt & Co.) This could be different from their known mark.
