Have another mystery. Have looked through the silverplate marks pages and can't find this one. Looks like there were two calligraphy letters on each side of the mark that have rubbed off. Possibly an S on the right hand side. This is on a footed clam shell serving dish with candle holders. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That mark is now thought by many to be one of those used by the Continental Sheffield Silverplate Co. of Brooklyn:
