Sent images to a Norwegian silversmith who runs a workshop, he thought this dish was silver plated and that on the basis that "830S" were of different font was quite certainly come on afterwards, when it is not used 830S in England. Surely someone who would try to bring up the value of it, he said.
But "HRAS" he showed nothing about.
Anyone know if anyone in Sheffield have used these letters in his silver spot?

I think in this case, the '830S' is just coincidental. It is likely just to be the manufacturers pattern/order reference only.

Today I find it out.
HRAS is Rasmussen Gull og Sølv AS in Kristiansand in Norway. From the early 70`s
I think that them have import this to Norway or fix it for someone, and plated it with 830s silver .....

Even if 'H.R.A.S.' is a mark used by Rasmussen, seems unlikely that a Norwegian firm would repair and/or re-plate an item and then mark it with their trademark and '830S' (electroplating is done with fine silver, alloyed silver wouldn't be used) - as already suggested, the '830S' is almost certainly a factory production code.
