Taxco Belt Buckle?

This belt buckle was given to me by my mother. She said the stones are rubies. The markings on the back show that it is both 925 and 10K. I believe it says "Joy Mex. Plata 925" written in circular format. What does this mean? There is also a marking or character of some sort on the inside. It looks like a bull, but I can't tell for sure. In looking at the other postings, I don't think it is the eagle everyone is talking about being required by the Mexican Govt. Any thoughts? I would appreciate any leads. The symbol on the inside could be an Axtec warrior in profile. The absence of the Eagle mark indicates it was probably made between 1900 and 1948. After Eagle marks were introduced in 1948 this manufacturer was registered with the Eagle mark #4 and had a crown in the middle of the makers mark instead of the Aztec warrior. Sorry, don't have any info on the company.
