Hello,

please, somebody know this maker? Tea spoons are marked Wienna 1872-1921, are relatively well-made,

massive (111 g/6 spoons), but i am unable to find this mark B&Z in my sources.
Also, i welcomme this pattern identification, i know it very well, but not its name.

Many thanks for your time.

M.

Hello, that is Babirad and Zemen (Johann Babirad; Josef Zemen, sometimes written "Zeman"), active well into the 1930ies, Zemen may have been active after that. The pattern was shared by several makers, believe it is originally a Klinkosch pattern (name and number escape me) and was also produced in a plated version, which is quite common and mostly appears with the marks of Krupp Berndorf.
