I have a small salt spoon with a twisted handle and on the back of handle is stamped 925 - ok sterling grade silver BUT in bowl of spoon is a simple "spade" shield in which are 2 lions/leopards passant ( one above the other) - possibly heads looking towards viewer
and in a seperate unknown shape is a capital T ?
I know that in heraldry the shield with two lions was that of e.g. Normandy, france william conqueror of england etc but cannot find reference to it for silver
i want to include photo but cant see how to ?!!!
help please

Hi Dave,
It's from the Channel Islands, in particular Sark.
There are at least a couple of silversmiths working on the island, but I'm not sure which one this mark relates too.
