The retailer advertised as a jeweler, optician and watchmaker in Minneapolis, MN.

It looks like Theodore H Klages was in business in Pittsburgh in 1875 and went out of the jewelry business in 1893 in Minneapolis. He is listed in Minneapolis directories throughout the 1880's. Maybe this will at least help date you piece a little if you are looking for that.
