Help with pastry fork marks

I recently purchased these, but I'm a little confused with the marks.
The crown mark suggests Sheffield to me, but is it normally repeated, and is it being used as the date stamp?
The E, P and NS could, I assume, mean Electro-Plated Nickel Silver; or do the E and P mean one thing, and the NS (or SN) are then a manufacturers mark?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, just seen that Silverplate shouldn't be in this forum section; however I can't edit, delete or move the post. Maybe a Moderator could?

Hi Ed,

Welcome to the Forum.

Such marks often do not identify the manufacturer, they were just applied by the makers when supplying the wholesale trade.

The letters do stand for Electro Plated Nickel Silver.

Hi Trev,

Many thanks indeed for clarifying that!
Makes a lot more sense now.

Cheers,
