Hello,

I have a ring that I bought for my girlfriend from an estate sale. It's 18k gold with a "750" stamp. It also has a stamp with " * 688 Al. " and a very nice designer signature "de gefilus" on it. Looked on every page of the Italian hallmark section but could not find it. Would love to know about the designer and possibly date the ring. If I'm not mistaken based on the " * 688 Al" stamp I don't think the ring is older than the 60's either way would love to know more.

The mark containing the star will not be found marked on items prior to 1971.
